This pattern was published by The New Butterick Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Frock for Women and Misses, with attached two-piece bias or straight flared skirt". Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1929-1930.
Suggested fabrics: Womens' and Misses' Frocks were made of cotton print, sateen print, dimity, printed lawn, sheer linen, silk crepe, crepe de chine, shantung, silk or cotton shirting, silk pique, silk gabardine, wash silk, rayons, Celanese, bemberg, light weight wools and linen. The colors were Nile green, rose France, Waikiki, navy blue and black.
