This pattern was published by New Butterick Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Frock for young girls and women with short kimono sleeve". Illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1928-1929.
Suggested fabrics: Summer frocks were made of were made of taffeta, radium, cotton voile, silk and cotton crepe, crepe de chine, georgette silk voile, organdie, sheer rayons or celanese, cotton or sateen print, tissues, zephyrs and dimity, dotted or embroidered swiss. The colors were Nile green, pink rose, rose-beige, and fancy tan.
