This pattern was published by The Hollywood Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "One-Piece Dress. The skirt has a gored front and panel back and joins the blouse under the belt. Blouse is gathered below shaped shoulder yokes and the broad lapel collar is optional. Front may fasten with buttons or novelty clasps, and sleeves may be bracelet length or very short. A cascade lapel for the collarless V-neck version is also included." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1942-1943.
Suggested fabrics: One-piece dresses were made of printed silk, silk crepe, faille, taffeta, satin, heavy sheer, dress woolen, novelty cotton, linen, gingham, seersucker, cotton voile, and rayons. The colors were navy, black, cadet blue, gray, and white ground floral print.
