This Men of Medieval Romanesque Period pattern set includes all that is needed to make a complete set of clothes for a nobleman or peasant for the years 1060 or 1150. Garments included are the Chainse (shirt), Cotte (tunic), Bliaut (over-tunic), Fretes (crossed gartering), Coif (cap), and instructions for a mantle (cape), and circlet (crown). Accompanying the sewing instructions are historical notes on period fabrics, colors, sewing stitches, hair and beard styles.
