This pattern was published by The Ladies Home Journal Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' wrap-around dress. Fronts of waist cross in suplice style and close at left side front, inset vestee and set-in sleeves that are gathered into wristbands. Three-piece skirt attached under removable belt." Detailed directions. Pattern dates circa 1925-1926.
Suggested fabrics: Wrap-around dresses were made of silk and wool bengaline, embroidered net, silk satin, wool crepe, silk flat crepe, and twill back velveteen. The colors were black, brown, blue, tan, bisque tan, French blue, navy blue, mahogany, powder blue, and light green.
