This pattern was published by New Idea Patterns as The Woman's Magazine Styles. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' Waist with two styles of open neck, one-seam sleeves in full or shorter length and as overblouse. Collar and pocket may be omitted and any style of belt or girdle may be worn. The waist is closed at back and the overblouse at shoulder. Suitable for flouncings." Detailed directions. Pattern dates circa 1920.
Suggested fabrics: Ladies' waists were made of mercerized cotton, woven cotton, and jean cloth. The colors were light blue, rose, blue, white, and sunset tan.
