This pattern was published by an independent pattern company or one of the many patterns sold through newspapers and magazines. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies', Misses' and Juniors' Dress. Waist has round neck, front and back, and short, set-in puff sleeves. Circular six-piece skirt with V-shaped inset at top of skirt at center-front. Skirt is attached to waist under a removable belt. The dress is closed under the left arm." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1932-1933.
Suggested fabrics: Hollywood-style dresses were made of silk canton crepe and silk crepe. The colors were chona brown, black, mulberry, and cruise blue.
