This pattern was published by The Butterick Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' Dress, in clearing or shorter length, with slightly raised waistline; consisting of a waist with fronts gathered to the back which extends over the shoulders, full-length or shorter sleeves, collar in either of two styles, with or without the chemisette; and an attached straight skirt, plaited or gathered at the top with deep tuck at flounce depth." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1915.
Suggested fabrics: Satin, crepe, chiffon, georgette, China silk, taffeta, and lace. The colors were flowered prints, blue, black, pink, lavender, white, and brown.
