Ladies' Dress: Circa 1917

Size: 36" bust, 26" waist, 40" hips.

This pattern was published by The New Idea Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' Dress. Having a waist in open neck, one-seam sleeves in full or shorter length and a gathered straight skirt. Collar may be omitted. Back closing." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1917.

Suggested fabrics: Crepe de Chine, silk, silk crepe, silk taffeta, satin, half-wool challis, wool serge, and cotton poplin. The colors were navy blue, black, Copenhagen blue, dark brown, dark gray, Russian green, and purple.

Materials required: 6-3/8 Yds. 36" wide.

This Vintage Revivals pattern is only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. This pattern is printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic.
