This pattern was published by The Butterick Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' Dress, in clearing length, with slightly raised waistline; consisting of a waist in raglan style, with collar having stand away effect at the back, full-length or shorter sleeve and a French lining in high neck with collar having straight or curved lower edge or open neck; and an attached two-piece skirt, draped in bustle effect, with short four-piece foundation skirt." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1913-1914.
Suggested fabrics: Satin, brocade, velvet, tulle, embroidered marquisette, linen, eyelet embroidery, silk, satin, chiffon, and bordered material. The colors were pale cream, khakis, deep brown, green, rose, blues and stripes.
