This pattern was published by The Simplicity Pattern Company. It was originally described as "This smart cocktail ensemble provides a modified shirt-waist frock with puff sleeves. The skirt has three pleats front and back stitched to the knee which give the desired flared bottom. The semi-fitted jacket has revers and leg o' mutton sleeves." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1933.
Suggested fabrics: Net, gingham, taffeta, dotted swiss, velvet, satin crepe, metal cloth, silk or rayon crepe. The colors were black, white, chona brown, mulberry, and cruise blue.
