This pattern was published by The Ladies Home Journal Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' and Misses' coat, in wrap-around style. Front edges underfaced and finished with cape collar or scarf shirred at center-back and thrown over shoulders. One-seam sleeves." Detailed directions. Pattern dates circa 1927-1928.
Suggested fabrics: Wrap-around coats were made of wool broadcloth, wool broadloom, wool repbloom, Celanese moire, fancy tweed, wool velour, and caracul fur fabric. The colors were tan, black, burgundy, light green, light navy blue, and navy blue.
