This pattern was published by The Ladies Home Journal Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' and Misses' set of underwear, the easiest of all patterns to use, constituting of an undervest with shoulder straps. Two-piece panties with reenforced facings at legs and slashed at each side for opening; the upper edges joining at a two-piece yoke in pointed outline at front and closing sides. Lower edges of each leg gathered to legbands." Detailed directions. Pattern dates circa 1927-1928.
Suggested fabrics: Ladies' and Misses' Underwear were made of silk pongee, searslip cloth, glove silk, crepe de chine, rayon, tub silk, radium silk and mercerized jersey. The colors were flesh, white or tan.
