This pattern was published by Excella Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' and Misses' Long-waisted dress. Fronts of blouse are dart-fitted on the shoulders, crossed and closed at left side-front. Neck is finished with two collars. The four-piece skirt is laid in plaits in front and attached to blouse under a tuck. A narrow belt is closed in front". Printed Pictograf directions. Pattern dates circa 1925.
Suggested fabrics: Long-waisted dresses were made of silk satin charmeuse, wool crepe, crepe de chine, wool Poiret twill, tub silk and twill back velveteen. The colors were brown, tan, Copenhagen blue, scarlet, navy, kelly and silver grey.
