This pattern was published by The McCall Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Ladies' and Misses' Dress with Shrug. Bodice is gathered front and back creating a shrug. Four piece skirt creates slight flare at bottom. Front waist band joins skirt to bodice. Removable belt." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1942-1943.
Suggested fabrics: Net, marquisette, satin, organza, voile, plain or printed crepes, lace, sheer crepes, and chiffon. The colors were red, navy, black, cadet blue, white ground with floral print, emerald green, sunset red, pecan beige, Copenhagen blue, and clove brown.
