This pattern was published by The Superior Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' and Misses' Dress, with Guimpe, One-piece dress to be slipped on over head with large armhole; skirt gathered to slightly long waist at each side; guimpe with front closing and sleeves in long or short length". Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1924.
Suggested fabrics: Dresses with Guimpe were made of wool and silk fancy crepe, 'crepe pasha', wool camel's hair cloth, wool canton crepe, and wool and silk novelty crepe. The colors were tan, gray, camel, navy blue, and brown.
Materials required: Dress 2-7/8 Yds. 36" wide. Guimpe 1-3/4 Yds. 36" wide. Collar 1/4 Yd. 27" wide. 1/2 Yd. ruffling for pockets.
