This pattern was published by Butterick Patterns. Originally the pattern was described as "Ladies' and Misses' One-piece Dress with Convertible or Standing Collar, with or without the Pockets, Cuff, or Body Lining". In Everyday Fashions of the '20's by Stella Blum, these comfortable one-piece dresses were described as, "Splendidly adapted for a maternity dress". Illustrated directions. Pattern dates circa 1919-1920.
Suggested fabrics: One-piece dresses were made of wool mixed panama, silk satin, wool poplin, wool French serge, and black-and-white shepherd check. The colors were navy blue, black, brown, grey, burgundy, Copenhagen blue, liberty blue, and tan.
Materials required: 3-7/8 Yds. 36" wide or 3-1/2 Yds. 45"wide.
