Camp dress.

This is a perfect pattern for a general camp work dress for the Civil War era. You can make it and add creative details if desired, or leave it as is. It goes together beautifully, even a beginning seamstress should be able to make it. And the pockets are delightful for those wearing it for reenacting! I have gotten a lot of use out of this pattern and will continue to use it.

This pattern appears to be very easy to use and make up, but I haven't made the dress yet. It arrived quickly and was very well packed. Thank you.

No dotes

This pattern is a little tricky to to follow because the drawings are not clear and when it says "gather between dots" there are no dots. After all that is overcome, it does make and accurate period work dress. I was pleased with the results.

frustrating for all levels of sewers

Concise and easy to follow pattern instructions are missing here. It is possible to complete this project but you will have problems. Example: instructions tell you to gather the top of sleeves between the dots but there are no dots on the pattern. The drawings are poor and hard to follow. Not good directions for cartridge pleating - I still don't know if I did it right but I won't be ripping out all that work. Customer service from A. Drygoods was excellent.

This Pattern is so easy to use and is perfect Civil War Dress. It fits true to size and is easy to use if you are new to sewing. The instructions are easy to read and understand.
