This pattern was published by The Ladies' Home Journal Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Child's Dress with Bloomers, dress in either of two lengths, opening in back and to be slipped on over head with front in panel effect and smocked or gathered at upper edge; band at neck and each side of front; full-length kimono sleeves gathered to wristbands and perforated for short-length sleeves with cuffs." Written directions. Pattern dates circa 1920.
Suggested fabrics: Peggy cloth, poplin, twilled jean, pique, chambray, cotton rep, suiting, and linene. The colors were gray, white, medium green, dark blue, tan, and blue.
