This pattern was published by The McCall Pattern Company. It was originally described as "Bride's Dress. Long skirt is gathered front and back at waistline. Bodice has a sweetheart neckline with a slight gather in center. Two darts in back of bodice create a fitted look. Sleeves may be long with a point, 3/4 length with a point or short and puffed." Detailed illustrated directions. Pattern dated 1944.
Suggested fabrics: Satin or acetate taffeta, silk or acetate satin and parachute silk. The colors were white.
