This pattern was published by The Demorest-Ledger Pattern Company. Originally the pattern was described as "The Bernard Waist gives the new and popular effect, tucked and open in the back. It also has the shirt-waist or Bishop sleeve. The front is tucked like a round yoke and the fullness gathered at the belt. The one-piece back has three tiny plaits at the belt, and there is a fitted lining." Minimal directions. Pattern dates circa 1899.
Suggested fabrics: Silk, woolen and cotton fabrics. The colors were harmonious or monochromatic schemes heightened with vivid touches of strong color (particularly red).

This Vintage Revivals pattern is only one size; the original size. The pattern envelope, instructions and pattern pieces are unedited. The older the pattern the more likely it is to have limited instructions. This pattern is printed on blue line paper and packaged in plastic.
