The shoes are fantastic and are true to size for the length. I tend towards needing a wide width and these were a bit snug in the toes. However, wetting the leather and wearing them with athletic shocks has been helping to stretch them out enough.

These beautiful, all leather, ballroom slippers are well made and correct for the civil war period I dress for. Unfortunately, they run a bit small and narrow for my feet, so never got to wear them. So sad, because they are gorgeous!

These shoes are true to size and are very comfortable. I wish these came in a variety of colors, but I will say that they take dye VERY well. I dyed mine black and it was super easy and they are holding up well. I've been wearing them to work until I have events to go to and they are very nice. The blue was a very light ice blue, almost white. This helped with them dying, I think. It is so difficult to find period slippers in leather so I am thrilled that these took dye so well so I could have them in any color I chose.
