The 19th Century Side Lacing Boot is an elegant choice for casual or formal wear. The stacked leather heal and soft leather upper are extremely comfortable. This lovely style has a curved arch and slender ankle for a period correct fit. Runs true to size, in whole sizes only 6 through 11.

Lovely Shoes

These shoes are so comfortable. I have been breaking them in at work to get them ready for events. They fit true to size and the leather is softening up beautifully. It did take a fair bit of effort to get them on the first time but as the boots started to soften up, they are much easier to get on now. I love that these will work for a variety of years for me (I do 1830-1875 and these will at least take me from 1830 to 1865) and they are nice and comfortable. I will be coming back for another color!

It can be difficult to find period correct footwear - but if you're here, look no further! I loved the style, fit, and quality of construction of the first pair I purchased so much that I just had to have a second! A note on sizing: I typically wear a 7.5, and the size 7 fits perfectly.
Customer service was also excellent (both in person and online).

These boots have a great look, beautiful authentic construction with a good last. I'm an 8.5 and initially ordered a size up - they ran large for me. Ordered the next size down and that was just right. Shipping was very quick and customer service was great.

Love these boots, and the color is so pretty! I usually wear a 9.5, but had to get a 10 as these only come in whole sizes. I love that there is room to add my orthotics.
