Confusing Directions.

I am still working on making this coat, so I am still not certain that I have it assembled correctly. The peplum pattern piece for the size 12 to 14 is several inches too big. So it doesn't match anything when you go to sew it onto the coat piece. The directions just say to sew the peplum piece to the bottom of the coat piece on the back and front. It does not tell you to cut the front peplum in half to sew it on the front.
